Well-backed Trader bounces back to his best
Mister Trader bounced back to his best, as he took the Matchbook Exchange Handicap. Sun 01st SepMurphy's Kodiqueen doubles up at Cork
Kodiqueen gained her second win this month when landing the Pier 26 Supporting Marymount Hospice Handicap at Cork today for trainer Joe Murphy and apprentice jockey Gavin Ryan. Sat 17th Aug
After race at Naas Mon, 5th Aug, 2019 (1st)
I used to think she preferred running around a bend but there was nothing wrong with her there. She ran as straight as a die and it’s great that she has won two races. She’s very consistent. We were getting frustrated at Dundalk over the winter and we thought she was never going to win but she’s just that bit better on the turf. Sean was in RACE last year. He had only one year to go in school so he went back and did his leaving cert recently. He rides well and could ride anything. He has great hands, he’s tall but his weight is not too bad. He did a good job there with hands and heels, and I think he only gave her one flick. He didn’t panic and for only his third ride he did very well.

After race at Fairyhouse Fri, 14th Jun, 2019 (1st)
She’s been trying hard for a good while and hasn’t got her head in front. Perhaps she liked the little comfort in the ground as she’s been at Dundalk several times. She got out in front there and seemed to enjoy it. She quickened up and ran to the line well so we’re delighted with her. It’s great to win a race for Mr (Tom) Monaghan. It’s the first foal out of the mare and he’s got a nice Kodiac colt foal going to the sales later this year. We tried a mile as an experiment the last day but it didn’t work.
