After race at Cork Sun, 15th Oct, 2017 (1st)  When he won the last day, I said to you he mightn't stay too long over hurdles but after that we'll stay over hurdles and will probably come back here on November 5th now and there's also a Graded race in December. If he's ok, that'll be the plan. We bought him off Enda (Bolger) after he won his point-to-point. Last year, when he ran in a bumper Fairyhouse, I've a book at home when I write in the winners as they come and it's always a great feeling to put in another winner, but I nearly wrote him in before I went to the races! . I was talking to Gary (O'Brien, presenter) on Attheraces before the race and was never as confident of a horse winning in my life and he finished fourth and I couldn't believe it! . But that can happen in racing and it wasn't the first time and won't be the last time it'll happen and he had a small little wind op after that. Noel Meade

After race at Galway Mon, 18th Sep, 2017 (1st)  I was disappointed with him the three times I ran him bumpers but I suppose he is not really a bumper horse. I've liked him from the time we got him at the beginning and I decided to give the bumpers a miss and start jumping. It's not set in stone that he will stay over hurdles for that long either. He is a long striding, big horse. He got stopped going up the inside and it took him a while to get going again, but he did get going very well in the end. It probably wasn't the strongest race in the world. I'd say you will the see the best of him when he is going three miles and jumping fences. Noel Meade
