She's had three stinking bad draws here and over six furlongs here the draw is crucial,. He was able to jump out, sit and wait and be patient. That's exactly what he did and she just loves coming at horses. She's a game filly. You can't do that when you're drawn 14, you'd want stones in hand. She was due another one. That's her second win here this season so we're been delighted. She's owned by Tom Kelly, who is a Vietnam War veteran. The horse is called after his son who passed from cancer so it's very emotional for him and he's delighted.

I won’t tell you what I was calling the handicapper after last Monday as she went up 21lb. We couldn’t get her into a race for two months because she was so lowly rated. I had her entered in England and here plenty of times and couldn’t get her in,. I was forced to run her here last week in a 0-85, and she got a winners penalty for winning nothing. I suppose winning here has proved him right but that shouldn’t really happen. I’m delighted for Tom Kelly, and it’s the first horse I’ve had for him. She’s in again at Newcastle and Lingfield during the week so more than likely she will be turned out again.

She has plenty of ability but she's just taken a while to come to hand. She's just been learning her job, but slow at that,. She did that well. Dropping her in over six is probably the way to ride her. The horses she beat there would have been well handicapped. It's good for the owner (Thomas Kelly). He's a good supporter of mine and is from Lanesborough. I'm delighted for him as well. We might leave her for the grass now and give her a little break. Over a straight six she'd probably be alright.
