To be honest, I actually thought that he might have been able to beat Tai (Sing Yeh) last week so if you are wary of them beating you, you might as well take them! John had him fit last week and he only rode out Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We don't know much about him. I'd say probably going good and hard in front, with Tai and that, probably helped him. No (probably wouldn't want to lose him), but I've had worse weeks - six grand in a week. Nobody went for him last week, if someone wants to go for him this week so be it. He looked a little bit like me, he looked a little bit ungenuine up the straight! If someone wants to roll the dice, it has been a good week. There are more races to be won with Tai Sing Yeh, we've been busy with him and it's probably telling now. We tend to know when they cry enough and they get a couple of weeks off so we won't panic about him.

he's a grand horse, was down to a good mark and had a nice run the last day. The strong pace suited as he had something to aim at and still probably got there a little bit soon. We left off all the headgear, that was the only change we did; he used to be very straightforward and he came to us in good nick. I'm delighted for the lads (Saturday Night Racing Syndicate) and Siobhan. We will be busy up until Christmas and then take a breather for a few days. We seem to be getting one winner every week or nearly every week, so it is going well.

Rory gave him a grand ride. He dropped him in which I felt he needed to do to get the seven. He got a lovely clear run and just idled a little bit in front. I’m delighted for Nigel O’Hare and it’s his first winner in his colours. He’s from Mayobridge near Newry and they are his local club colours. He can do six or seven and we bought him for just 12,000 in Newmarket not too long ago. He’s paid for himself already and is a real fun horse. It’s been a great year and this is my last night with runners. It was great to get the HRI award the other night (Flat Achievement Award for his first Group One with A Case Of You's victory in the Prix de l'Abbaye) which really topped it off. We have great staff that work really hard and long may it continue.

He ran in the Curragh a couple of weeks ago but the straight course there doesn't suit him,. He seems to like running around a bend and was third in a Listed race at Dundalk. The plan was to go forward here from his inside draw and Shane knocked a good tune out of him. He has a lot of ability and Shane seems to be able to get him to go forward. He's got a touch of class, we thought he was a step above these and we had him ready today. It worked out well. That was the plan and I'm not quite sure what is there for him now. What we're learning about him is that he is track dependent and he won't go back to the likes of the Curragh. He seems to like racing around a bend where he can get out in front and keep galloping forward. He has his own style of running but it works for him.

He's got bundles of ability and probably the key is to run him in a race where he can travel that bit better as he got taken off his feet a bit the last day in the Curragh,. He travelled smoothly today and won in spite of himself. His head carriage is a bit high but you can't knock him as he's won his maiden and ran off 85 here and won. I wouldn't mind having a few more like him. He'll have no problem stepping up to six. Shane has rode him twice and won twice so he has the key to him.

We said coming here that this was his Derby, going down the hill and around as he has loads of pace,. It's taken us a while to try and get a handle on him. Hopefully he can learn from that and go forward. He's not the most straight-forward. Shane gave him a super ride. Maybe he'll progress from here. It was an ordinary race but he won well. The last day we maybe just sat on him a bit too much, horses got up around him and he was all buzz and too strong. He showed it there today. He's only had a handful of runs and hopefully he's learning.
