He had a bit of a break and I didn't think he was as forward as he was. He is very genuine and he loves it here. Shane gave him a perfect ride. He is a real Dundalk specialist and there is plenty of races for him here over the winter and we will keep him busy.

.He was a decent enough horse in his day. He's had a few little injuries but nothing major,.

He seems to like this place. He had his wind done earlier in the season and it took him a while to get over it. He had a few hold-ups but the handicapper gave him a bit of a chance. Seamie gave him a great ride as he is not straight-forward. He has to be produced late.

He did it well. This has been the plan really nearly all season. 1m4f stretches his stamina and I thought this was the ideal race,. He was a couple of pounds wrong but I thought he might sneak into it. I don't think there is anything left for him and he'll probably go back over hurdles now. He's had a tough enough season but has been consistent and it's great to get it right.

After race at Dundalk Thu, 26th Nov, 2009 (1st)
He won very easily this evening and we'll probably keep him to something similar. We'll give him a little break now and bring him back here in February. The long term plan would be to go hurdling with him and the key to him is good ground. This should be a good tonic for his owner Jim Gleeson who is sick at the moment so I hope this makes him feel better.
Garvan Donnelly
After race at Dundalk Wed, 11th Nov, 2009 (1st)
He's always showed us promise and just needed the step up,. His job is over hurdles but he can't handle soft ground. He wants nice ground and we'll keep him to that job for a while. The slow pace suited him.
