After race at Navan Sat, 16th Nov, 2024 (1st)
He ran well in the race the last couple of years and he was a good bit better off at the weights this year. It is very much his first run of the year, but I thought he really went through the race well and jumped well. Danny was impressed with him. I couldn't be happier. We always keep him fresh, so we will wait for Christmas (Hurdle at Leopardstown) now and then he will go from Christmas to Cheltenham. His path kind of plots itself.

After race at Leopardstown Wed, 28th Dec, 2022 (1st)
I was actually worried how well he was travelling through the race because he never does travel well. I thought he was going to waste too much energy travelling and jumping well but he’s a real good stayer. He keeps finding and even when he got to the front he pricked his ears again. I was surprised he beat Bob Olinger in Navan but he really was going well. He was discounted in the betting but we hoped he’d be placed and then come here. He’s always been a fairly good horse. He was a good novice chaser and then lost his confidence jumping fences and we came back hurdling. He’ll probably go straight to Cheltenham now for the Stayers. He likes getting into a nice rhythm and wasn’t beaten a million miles in it last year. He looks a better horse this year.

After race at Cork Sun, 1st Nov, 2020 (1st)
it was a big ask having had just one run over fences and he jumped fairly well but got under one or two. He stays very very well and is a lovely horse going forward. I needed a good jump at the last but didn't get a wonderful jump but he managed to get away from it well and plugged on to the line.

After race at Fairyhouse Wed, 1st Jan, 2020 (1st)
He's done nothing wrong all the way along. He ran a lovely race the last day in Naas and came forward from that,. JJ said that he jumped the third last very well and ended up getting to the front a bit sooner than he wanted. He was waiting a little bit then but at the back of the last when he got hold of him he galloped out to the line well. He's a very nice horse. He could maybe go into a confined novice now or a graded race. We'll see but we'll take it baby steps with him as he's probably a staying horse for the future. He's only just turned five so he's a young horse still.
