Reports in which Gin Blossom (IRE) was mentioned
20 up for Murtagh as Aztec Parade routs rivals
If Gin Blossom’s win in the fillies equivalent half an hour earlier was easy, 1/6 favourite Aztec Parade’s success in the colts and geldings median auction maiden could only be described as facile. Thu 16th JulGin Blossom off the mark on fourth start
It was all very straightforward for the 11/10 favourite Gin Blossom in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction (Fillies) Maiden. Thu 16th JulKeane and O'Brien battle could have a way to go yet
It’s Colin Keane (96) Donnacha O’Brien (99) after the jockey’s championship contenders filled the first two positions in race two at Gowran. Keane won the Thomastown Fillies Median Auction Maiden on Lemista. Mon 14th OctOrr moves level with Slattery in race to be champion apprentice
Oisin Orr moved level with Andrew Slattery (36 winners apiece) at the head of the apprentice table when winning the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at the Curragh on Katiba. Sun 29th Sep
After race at Leopardstown Thu, 16th Jul, 2020 (1st)
She did it nicely. She fell out of the stalls in Tipperary and was always on the back foot but stayed on nicely over a bit shorter. Shane said she was a little bit slow today but he got into a nice position and she quickened up well and quickened away. He said she felt good in the last furlong and loved that ground. I think she will end up staying. She's gone and shed her maiden tag now and we'll see what happens from there. Knowing if she keeps improving there no doubt he'll look for some black-type. It's important for their pedigrees and he usually tries to do that with those fillies. I suppose we'll have to see what the handicapper will give her as well for that.
Brendan Powell, representing Joseph Patrick O'Brien
