Magnanimity too strong in Bobbyjo
Magnanimity powered away from his rivals in good style to claim the Bobbyjo Bar Festival Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse. Tue 06th AprFlat Out takes the bumper

Conor O'Dwyer, earlier successful with Daytime Dreamer at Dundalk, completed a 93 and a half to one across the card double when Donttellmother prevailed by a length in the O'Leary Insurances Handicap Hurdle. Ruby Walsh was on this 7/2 favourite and it brought-up a brace for him also as he had been aboard Definitive Edge half-an-hour earlier. Sat 29th AugEdge a Definitive Winner
Definitive Edge was a beaten favourite on his first three starts but the Overbury gelding has really got the hang of things now and he made it three on the bounce when making all to take the Easyfix Rubber Products Novice Hurdle in impressive style. Sat 29th AugEasy for Edge at Sligo

After race at Galway Sat, 29th Aug, 2009 (1st)
He is improving nicely and he'll go for another novice now, maybe in Listowel. He improved his jumping from Sligo and he seems to get his stamina from his dam's side. He isn't too slow either though, as he showed when winning a bumper at Ballinrobe so I wouldn't be that worried about dropping back in distance either. How his jumping would stand up to going that bit faster over shorter, I don't know.
