As a mark of respect to Jack de Bromhead and his family there will be no blog this week.

Sincere condolences to his family and friends in this most difficult time and may he rest in peace.

A funeral mass celebrating the life of Jack will be live-streamed from the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown, Co Waterford at 12 noon this Wednesday.

The family have requested that rather than sending flowers they would prefer if a donation was made to the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund
