Cheveley Park entrant wins at Cork
she is a lovely filly and we've always thought a lot of her. She has a massive frame and is thriving on her racing. She has entries in the (Group 1) Cheveley Park (at Newmarket) and there's a race at Fairyhouse (Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes) for her but we'll let mum decide and whatever she does this year, she'll be a better filly next year. Shane said she hated the soft ground the last day and I was worried about the ground being too quick today but she handled it really well.
Ace Aussie another smashing juvenile for Harrington
He’s a gorgeous horse. He has a massive frame and, like the last filly (Loch Lein), whatever he does this year he’s going to be even better next year. He’s got entries in Royal Lodge and the Beresford, and if he comes out of this okay he’ll go to one of them, but it will be just one more run this year and then we’ll put him away for next year. After he ran he grew on us and we just gave him a break to let him furnish off a bit more. And we had the other horse (Phoenix winner Lucky Vega) and he was in no rush with him.
Magnanimous gives Crosse a generous response in Premier Nursery
His last two runs were good runs and Shane (Crosse) said today on that ground he flicks his toe and loved it. What he liked about him today was he relaxed and quickened up. He is a very big horse and is not just a two year old and will make into a nice three year old; he has loads of size. You'd say he is up to Stakes class after that and he'd deserve it somewhere along the line.

Well-backed Petticoat Lane obliges under Lee
She is a big mare, has taken a long time to come to hand and is from a very good family and was bred by Edmont Kent down here in Cork. I put the visor on her because she is a daft oul devil and just keeps learning. The more she learns, the better chance we have. She ran in terrible ground in Killarney and the better ground helped today. She is in on Friday (at Limerick) and we might run her again.
Fascinating Spirit relishes the fast ground to win for Eoin McCarthy
Everything suited today; she wants quick ground and the straight seven (furlongs). She was just touched off here over the same course and distance recently. She is well bred, has a great pedigree and ground depending she will go to Listowel; she wants nice ground.
