Dancer back with a bang at Wexford
She likes it around here. She's a little mare we think a lot of,. She handles that sort of ground so I wouldn't like to risk her on quick ground but she's a versatile little lady. Possibly the further up in trip she goes the better she'll be. I think that she'll stay well as she's by Authorized. She's a mare that we like and hopefully she'll go on to do better things. She got a little bit of a setback after Leopardstown the last day so we decided when she got over that we'd bring her back to try and win again with her. She's done that so we'll make a plan now and see where we go from here. She's only five so we'll try and mind her.
Toon Town hits the target for Walsh
He ran here only 11 days ago and we were just a little bit worried about that. . The ground was a bit better today and it helped him, the ground the last day just caught him out I'd say. It was nice ground today and Darragh gave him a super ride. . Hopefully we can get another little race like that along the line somewhere in a couple of weeks. . We'll keep hurdling a while and it's nice for the (Teergay) syndicate who are from Macroom, they have been patient with him.
Rothwell's Future Proof snaps long losing run
He was a fun horse that we kept for one of the girls in the yard to ride in a charity race at Punchestown,. He's a great old school master, a lovely horse and very easy to do anything with. He's one that we're going to sell and it's brilliant that he's come and won for us today. If some young person out there wanted a school master he's for sale and he won't be expensive. I think he'll win again as well. If he's not sold he'll run away for the summer and then get sold. It's brilliant to get another winner for Eric (Newnham), who is London based. Phils Choice won for me at Limerick over Christmas and we have her to look after. This year want we're trying to do is to keep moving the lower grade handicappers. I'm limited to 60 stables and we're going to try and build a better team, slowly but surely. I think with the price of the point-to-pointers and the stores at the moment there is a huge opportunity to build things. We're going to try and move in that direction but to do that we have to free up boxes so we need to keep selling these guys.
Patience is rewarded with Spur
He's a horse that cost a lot of money as a store and he ended up with a few problems,. We gave him as much time as possible and I thought this would be a starting point for him, I'm kind of surprised that he did what he did. He handled that dead ground. The favourite was in trouble with a circuit to run and anything that took its time was going to be finishing better. It's great to see him back on a racecourse and being able to do something after what he went through. He wouldn't want to be running on ground any better than that, yielding ground would be as good as you'd run him on.
Antrim Coast strikes in sunny south-east
Flicker Of Hope maintains hurdling progress
He was good again, going up from two-and-a-half mile to three miles. He barely got there again and he's a nice horse to look forward to. We'll keep him going as he's probably a summer horse, he's probably not good enough to run over the winter. . We'll just try and pick a race with a bit of ease over the summer.
