Loch Garman is a late maturing horse and Kevin (Manning, winning jockey) liked the way he did it . He quickened away out of the dip and while he got through that ground, he'd appreciate it better. He's a nice one to look forward to over the winter, is a nice big horse who should make a nice 3yo.

Lake Louise is very tough and honest and is taking her racing fierce well. She was bit light and backward at the start of the year so we left her off in a field for two months and has come back a lot stronger. She is keeping the show on the road and she could go to Leopardstown on the last day of the season next.

she was unlucky at Gowran, where she didn't get a clear run, and the ground was a bit fast for her the last day. She loves the mud and we may school her over hurdles and see if she'll jump, but she'll probably get a break for a while now.

Double for Lordan on Valbucca

Valbucca loves that ground and while it has taken a long time to win one, she has been very consistent and has only been out of the placings once or twice. She deserves that and it's a nice pot. She was bought as a companion for Kanes Pass by her owner Betty Cosgrove, who has been very loyal and patient.

Gallagher gets off the mark at his local track

that's the Sean's (Gallagher) first winner at Navan and that's a bit of a monkey off his back as it's his local track!. Ian (Brennan) had the race planned out well . he said he was going to have to stretch them down the back and I always knew he'd fight back in the straight. He might go for a novice hurdle at Cheltenham or after that he could go for the November handicap at Leop . he has a few options now.
