Davinia's Tip wins opening race of 2014
that was great! She'll have a nice break after that as she came home drunk. But is as tough as nails!. She got all the allowances but the handicapper won't see it that way; Declan gave her a super ride.
Another for Bolger as Federici follows up
O'Grady hoping for a new Dawn!
this horse likes hills and you never know what hill he might go up yet! . He's quite a nice horse and is getting more professional; we'll find a winners' race for him somewhere now maybe at Clonmel. He's 17hh and is from the same family as Dawn Run.
Mini Vic bounces back to her best
She likes it around here, I retired on her a few years ago (after she won a bumper). She has had three palate operations, and the last one worked! She has this big palate for her tiny skull, and she was just cutting out in all her races as she couldn't breathe. She is eleven pounds lower today that her initial handicap rating. Andrew gave her a lovely ride. I told him not to come off the wall, and he didn't. I won a couple of races around here and that is what I used to do.
Marito wins as Russell finishes 'Giggy' job
it was a lovely tactical ride from Paul and the horse had the gears in what was a slowly run race. I'm not sure where he'll go now as he's going to be hard to place; he might mix it between hurdles and fences and while he handles any ground, I wouldn't be keen to run him on very fast ground as he had an injury when he was younger.
Miller gives McNamara a winning 'spare'
it was a nice spare ride to get and he jumped very well and he handled the ground.
Russell begins new phase with a Dream win
Davy rode plenty of winners for me in his youth and I have no doubt he'll bounce back as he's a brilliant jockey.
