Teach Nua wins opener
Basically he's a flat horse jumping hurdles. If he is ok in the morning he could run in 1m ½ handicap tomorrow. I see he has a cut on his leg, so we'll have to wait and see how he is in the morning. Paul gave him a lovely ride. I really thought the ground might have gone on him beforehand.
Natal scores for Lambe
He cost €26,000 at the Doncaster Sales and I thought he was the pick of the sale. I'm delighted for owner James Callow who is from Penrith in Scotland. He was a very high class chaser (for Paul Nicholls) and I find him straight forward enough and he still retains a lot of ability and class. The main thing was to get him here sweet and well in himself.
Weld completes a treble
Pat gave him a great ride and we will try and find a handicap for him next. It was a good night's work and the three winners got great rides.
Mullins father & son land feature at Galway
That was worth waiting for,. To win a feature race at Galway is very special and for the owner to breed it and my son to ride it, I'd have to say it's the best feeling of my life.
