Fenton gets back on track at Tramore
Little fish are sweet. He has some bit of a future and he is big enough to jump a fence. Funnily enough the time (the ban) went by quick enough. I was never in any doubt that I'd return to training. We have five or six in, and it's enough to keep the show on the road.

Russell brings up Tramore brace on Crazyheart
That's great for the owners, especially Jim Coffey of SoftCo who sponsors the yard. He loves coming down here on New Year's Day. He has been a very, very frustrating horse. He was an expensive horse after winning a point-to-point for Colin Bowe. Since the day we bought him he has had tendon injuries, wind issues, cuts, everything you could think of. I'm just glad for the lads today that he won what looked a very moderate contest. The favourite (Reach Up) falling probably helped him as well. There was no plan for him other than today. It was a frustrating Christmas so at least that is one winner for us.
Ahern lands 20/1 winner on spare ride Kilderry Prince
It was nearly three winners in a few days, the other one got beaten by a neck. It's definitely like the trains!. He had a great chance. He pulled up here in the awful ground the last day but his run before that in Thurles was good behind Seskin Flyer and Barna Venture. That was the best form in the race. I was lucky to get Sheila. She was the only one who could do the weight. He will just go for more of the same now. At least he can go for the 102s now and he won't be balloted. He is not getting any younger and a bit of better ground suits him.
