Bainne can't manage Gal at Sligo
She ran very well at Naas (9th behind Gathering Power in the middle of last month). She can race a bit free and my worry was the inside draw but as it turned out she was lovely and relaxed. She's tough and she loves a dig in the ground.
Vasoni turns out again quick for a win
She ran well at Limerick and she's very consistent and honest. That's her ground. Once she gets her toe into it she's happy.
Visor has Auden sharpened-up
We were struggling with him when we got him first. He was very keen at home and we tried a hood on him (first three starts of the campaign). We put the visor on last Sunday and he ran a solid enough race (3rd behind Morning With Ivan at Cork). He ran to around 70 so today's race was a good opportunity.
Show Court lives up to his billing
He's been consistent and he had a very good run at the Curragh (3rd there behind Paddy The Celeb on Guineas weekend). On his overall form and his run the last day he was entitled to win. We have no immediate plans.
A night to remember for the Doyles and Lee
It was worth the long journey. She won nicely and it was a competitive race. I was hoping for the best and she had two decent runs (this season). She's going the right way. She's in again at Limerick on Friday.
