Russell extends lead on Ludovic
It's nice to have a winner. He was in here off his mark and there was nothing with savage form in the race. He will stay on the go now provided the ground stays as it is.
Gervais answers punters' prayers
He deserved that. He was a nice horse last summer but wasn't his best on winter ground. I'm pleased with that win especially for the owners. He'll go to Punchestown now probably for a handicap as he wasn't good enough for the novices. He'll be kept on the go for the rest of the summer.
Welcome win for Mount
They have been lucky before with the likes of Beneficial Spirit and Rosoff.
Gold is Fantastic over fences
She did it well for her first start over fences. She should come on a bit but we expected a good run. We'll probably step her up to two and a half miles now and go for a mares novice chase.
Bates records first double on Diamond
He was very consistent last year when he was only out of the money once. He deserved to win and was coming up against well-handicapped horses last year. He was crying out for better ground all winter, and I only have him and two Flat fillies in at the moment.
McNamara marks engagement with a double
I knew there could be a problem here today with the sun so I gave him a spin on the Flat at Limerick on Sunday!. He'll continue on the go over the summer and mix it between hurdles and fences. Hopefully he can win a distance hurdle.
