Nolan & Flanagan on target at local track
She was a bit unlucky in Punchestown first time out when she made a mistake at the third last. It didn't work out a fantastic race and she didn't handle the ground at Clonmel, she was beaten after a circuit,. Today the better ground suited and they seemed to go a nice gallop the whole way. We'll keep her in for the summer. Sean said she was leery enough and tried to throw it away at the second last and last, she didn't do herself any favours. She's a maiden hurdle winner now anyway and she's going the right way. She'll jump a fence in time, she was placed in a couple of point-to-points for Colin Bowe.
Sam Magee off the mark under Rules
Mossy Fen sweetened up by Molloy to preserve his enthusiasm
He'd obviously been through a few academies and then he came to us,. We've just played with him, freshened him up and he's come back to himself — we wouldn't have run if he hadn't. . He seems to be back enjoying life so we'll take it step by step. He's a lovely character of a horse.

Doyen Ta Win blitzes them from the front
She likes it here, she likes going left-handed. I think the race on Sunday helped her because she jumped better. It was only her first chase on Sunday and I toyed with the idea of running her today, I don't like running horses back quick. I had a chat with my father on Sunday evening and he said to go back and watch the reply as she hadn't had a hard race. We spoke to the syndicate and decided we'd run her as she likes it here. It's great to pick up another (ITBA) bonus. She's going to be covered by Arctic Cosmos and when she's on foal she'll run away for the summer. That'll be it then, she's done her job. Arctic Cosmos is a big sort, she's not the biggest in the world, he's throwing good horses and he's great value. The Hannons (Old Road Stud in Tallow) have a great stud and they deserve a chance.
Shadow Rider lands Wexford feature for Roche & Kelly
Aidan said he was a bit sticky and he gave him a great ride in fairness to him,. He gave him a great hunt around and his bit of class got him home after all his errors. He's a lovely horse to have and it looked like an ideal opportunity for him. He's already won one this year and been touched off in a Listed hurdle so he had a good oul year. That's probably as quick as he wants the ground. I'll talk to Frank and JP and see what they say but for a ten-year-old he's had a good year.
Nolan doubles up in bumper
She was recommended to us by Colin Bowe and won her point-to-point well, even though it was only a four runner race. . Jack ended up wide and she was still the best mare in the race, I thought. She did very well to win. . They went quick early on and then slowed right down and bunched up. It was tight coming down that hill and I thought she did well to win from where she was. . She lugged in that little bit but I don't think anyone had to stop riding that much, I thought the best mare still won the race. . We didn't want to pull her out, and have an excuse, on heavy ground. I'm not saying she won't handle it, she's out of a Jeremy mare and she could be very versatile. . She's a great mare to lep. We'll see what coming but we won't run her on too fast ground. We'll treat her like she's good until she proves us wrong.
