Camelia outclasses rivals on Irish debut
Welcome winner for Doyle at local track
That was badly wanted. He ran well the last day and Brian just said he never travelled around here, but he just stuck it out well in the end. He wouldn't be in love that real deep ground. He is still very green, I think he is a horse that will improve a bit in the spring time. We might leave him alone now for a while to fill his frame. We haven't have a win for a while and hopefully we will have a few more over Christmas and get going again. We are happy with that anyway. He is well-bred, and it is possible he might come back here on New Year's Day. We will see how he comes out of this.
Special day for Kiely marked with a winner
I'm pleased with that, it's nice to win a local race. He always promised that he'd stay and I was hoping the ground would be as wet as it was, and it worked. He will go for a handicap now and we'll see how he gets on. He'll jump a fence in time. He is owned by Conor Lannen from Dungarvan, who has a fruit and vegetable business in the town.
Sea Scorpion keeps it in the family
Soft ground, near bottom weight, it's not rocket science! I thought he'd have nearly won the last day in Limerick. He hit this little flat spot, and then he'll find off it. It was great, it wasn't a strong race, so it was there to run well in with his weight and all the rain. He'll pop out again over Christmas, he is hardy. Sean actually won on his mother for me, Seepeeoh, so now he has won on the son, we are all getting old! . He will get better, he is a three-miler and is only a baby, he is only five. Hopefully he will be better than an 86 horse. He might go for a three-mile race at Limerick over Christmas, there is an 0-116 race there and he handles that ground really well. Hopefully he will get in off the low tens (stone) again. That might suit. When the ground is heavy, bottom weights kick in.

Fluspar justifies strong support over fences
He had some nice form over hurdles, and was well-in over fences. My horses were a bit sick last year, they were all unwell from this time last year. They were all running well without winning, so it's nice to get this one.
Ask Susan breaks her maiden in the bumper
She started off here in the summer on good ground, we took a chance on running her, and then she was second in Galway. Then we ran her in the Listed race at Gowran and it was a rough race. They went no gallop for her at Fairyhouse, and she was nearly put out through the rails at Cork. It was an eight runner bumper and she got into awful trouble. After Cork I said we'd go over hurdles with her and then we met Willie twice, and he beat us twice. When he had no entry in the race today I thought we might win one!. Laura is good and tough and she gave her a right good ride. She is a right good mare and she is a half-sister to Three Swallowsnick. There is no race for her over Christmas, so we'll give her a break and she'll go back over hurdles in the new year. She is deserving of her bumper win. I called her after my sister Susan and she is here today and all.
