Ella off the mark over timber
When she was second in the Grade 2 (mares) bumper in Aintree last year, I didn't think she would still be a maiden a year later. That's Irish racing, it just shows you what you are up against all the time. She did (pick up well after the mistake at the last), hopefully she can kick on from here. I'm not sure where we will go, I'm just happy to get that done. She could be a candidate for Punchestown.

Get It strikes again in dramatic finish
He's a serious jumper. I was going to run him over fences, but I thought I would give him one run over hurdles. He has been off since August and has never left home, I went to Brian Hamilton's twice I think. That's all he has done. He's an honest horse. He kept finding and hanging!. That's his second win here and that horse has some form, he has won me a lot of money and he has only won two races in his life. We have three or four young horses ready and a few nice horses.

Belle back in winners enclosure on return to chasing
She's very well-bred. She is actually out of a mare, Layla Joan, who was rated over 140. The last time she ran over fences was in Tramore when Davy Russell won on her in a beginners' chase. We have been trying over hurdles and, in fairness, she was unlucky two days in Navan and then she went to Leopardstown and was just leaning right. We said we would go back right-handed and go back over fences and try and win a race. The training is going grand, we only have two horses to run, two point-to-pointers and after that it is all half-bred horses. We will have fun with her. She is consistent the whole time, she has won two (this season) and probably unlucky not to win another one.
McGoldrick shines on Show
That's unreal, that is Cara's first winner on the track and she has three point-to-point winners. We couldn't get a jockey to ride him yesterday with all the point-to-points on today. We had no jockey at 12 o'clock yesterday. She worked up in Wilson Dennison's along with Noel (McParlan, son) and that's how he knew her. She is now working for the Doyles in Wexford. He must be class, that's only his third run. We thought he was a right horse (before his point-to-point victory), we got him off Paddy Turley. Paddy always thought he was a right horse. I didn't think he would handle the ground, to be honest. I thought he would want better ground. He destroyed them. I'm just delighted. We will probably be looking at another hunter chase on the track next.
