McGuinness wins opener at the Curragh
I thought he was a one miler horse for the last four years. He's been placed nine times from eleven starts before Listowel. I didn't realise he was a sprinter until now. He has had injuries in the past but the boys stayed with him and it has paid off today. I don't know where we'll go next but he has his job done for the year now after that.
Lady Springbank wins C.L Weld Stakes
She did it well, she did it very well actually. She saw it out very well. She's in the Cheveley Park so she'll probably take her chance in that. She came over from Karl Burke's for the good ground, so we were worried about how the ground dried out.
Hannon lands Goffs Millions Sprint again
He's always been a lovely horse. Richard couldn't go the early pace but it's a great advantage to be drawn this side. Credit must go to the Doyles who bought him and that'll be it for him for the year. It's great for the owner Julie Woods who is a Welsh born teacher living Buckinghamshire. Julie is one of our biggest and most enthusiastic owners we have in the yard.
O'Brien wins Juddmonte Beresford Stakes
He's a lovely horse and he's come forward well from his first run. He could possibly run in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster next month. He looks to be a classic type horse for next year and Johnny was really impressed with him.
Johnston wins Goffs Million Mile
I was sure he would have been more fancied as he's the one that's gone on and done it in Group 1 company and I thought he was the one to beat. I was just praying the line would come. Joe said he had to get at him all the way. I just won the Group race in Germany by a whisker so it's probably the best five minutes I've ever had.
Dohasa wins again
The drying in the ground has been great help to us for the last couple of weeks. That will have set him up nicely for his Campaign in Dubai. He's rated 109 and he can run well off that mark and you'd need to be to go over there. He has been a great servant to us and Ger is at the sales trying to find another Dohasa.
