Dime A Dozen gets 'Shark' back amongst the winners
I thought I'd never have a winner again, . I'm after having so many seconds and thirds in the last couple of months and she is a right little mare. She is very consistent and will get a break now and come back for the final at the Punchestown festival. She deserves a break as she has had a long season and was a very good point to point mare and won the Gain Final. She is a great jumper and deserved to win today and also picked up her E5,000 mares' bonus having also picked up a E5,000 bonus for her bumper win. I'm so glad to get a winner because I've all my summer horses gone out now and all I have is seven horses to run for the winter. I have point to point horses but I'd say I won't have seven horses for the next six months for the track.

Stamina the key to Flooring Porter
the step up in trip and the tongue-tie helped him and he was good. Johnny (Moore) said he was just a bit ignorant at those (padded) hurdles but he got around and there's a race for him at Navan in a few weeks. He is improving and while he didn't jump well early, he came into it well and got it done so all good.

She had been so consistent all year, was in good form and keeps improving and is an amazing filly in fairness to her, . There is nothing of her there but she keeps improving, keeps eating and holding herself together. I wasn't sure when the fall-off would happen but it hasn't happened yet and that was an improvement again. Today was the target for a good while so I'm not sure where we go but she is going to be a 135 mare now. I was thrilled with Articulum but I didn't think he travelled great throughout the race. I told Phillip (Enright)not to be hard on him as it was his first run back and from a long way out he wasn't going to win the race. I trying to watch both horses with a couple of kids hanging off me as well so it was hard enough to watch but Articulum seemed to see it out well for a first run back and also in a handicap. He is very well handicapped over hurdles and I'm tempted to go for a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse next. I'm also half-tempted to go to Cheltenham in November too but I'm not sure.
The Little Yank has the gears to overcome traffic
He was lucky he wasn't brought down and he'd have won easily, . He (Liam Quinlan) said another horse came straight across him. The way he was hampered he was very lucky he wasn't brought down and it is seldom a horse is blocked and will pick up again. In fairness Liam didn't panic and gave him a good ride. We ran him back quick in a bumper to see would we go the bumper route and we'll now either run him in a Listed bumper or a maiden hurdle. He has loads of foot and only for his speed he wouldn't have gotten out of trouble today. He loves soft ground, the softer the better and is not ground dependant in any circumstance. He is out of Presenting mare who was out of a Supreme Leader mare so isn't ground dependant.
