So Young takes the opener with ease
I'm very pleased with that. The trip was no problem to him. We will see how he comes out of this now with a view to the Hatton's Grace (at Fairyhouse on December 4th). Really I'd rather give him a longer break after his first run back and the three mile race at Christmas is favourite for his next run. I'll be gearing him toward the bigger Festivals in the spring time.
Days stays on best to beat William
They went a really good gallop he jumped well and stayed at it well. He is improving all the time and I'd say that ground is important to him. He was only getting going after the last so I'd say he could go further. He has every right to go for the 2m 1f Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown after Christmas now.
Onwards and upwards for Last Instalment
That was just perfect. It was a great round of jumping and he takes it all in his stride. I'd say he will go for the Fort Leney at Leopardstown at Christmas next.
Thousand Stars makes all to take the Morgiana
He will be well entered up in the Champion Hurdle and the World Hurdle. He seems to run up to his mark every time he runs. He has picked up a lot of prize-money along the way and is a great servant. He had the best form over 2m in this race and was a stone in hand on official figures. The Aintree Hurdle over 2m 4f, which he ran a cracker in last season, is a long term realistic target. He will be left in the Hatton's Grace as late as possible but he will probably go for the 2m Grade 1 Hurdle at Leoparstown at Christmas.
Dedigout scores on first start over hurdles
We will try and find a winners of one for him now over two and a half miles plus. The one thing he does is stay and he'll probably make a nice staying chaser in time.
Dare provides Mullins & Walsh with treble
That was a tremendous ride by Ruby. We decided to change the tactics with her as it was breaking her heart making the running last season. She was rated 132 coming into this and that would put her into Graded class. She loves that ground and has got a lot stronger this season. We will probably aim for something around Christmas with her now.
Four for Mullins as Make impresses in bumper
He is a real professional racehorse. He doesn't do anything too exciting at home. I'd say he is an out-and-out stayer and he will probably go straight over hurdles now.
