Dazzling on her first start at the Curragh
She's still very green but you'd have to be delighted the way she did it. We thought she'd be very green and we weren't sure if she'd know enough to win first time but she was well on top at the line. We could step up anywhere now with her. I knew he (Joseph) wanted to get a lead but he was maybe just left in front. She's a big strong powerful filly . a big mile and a half type.
Ton up for Aidan with Great White Eagle
You'd have to be delighted with that. It was a tough race . there was plenty of pace on. He was trapped out wide and he had no choice but to come up the middle and it's a hard thing to do here. You'd have to be very happy. He was drawn out there . there was pace out there and it was tight. He followed up them up for as long as he could. He kept it safe by going wide and it's always the right thing to do. We'll step him up now with a choice of the National Stakes or the Middle Park and all those types of races. We didn't ask him to come forward and we let him coast into this race a bit. Next time we'll ask him to come forward a bit. What's good about this horse is that he has great pace and travels very strongly.
Levanto back on course
We gave her a break after her last start. I hadn't intended running her for another ten days but I saw the two fifty grand handicaps this weekend . this and at Killarney . and I said I better put her in. I brought her up here during the week for a bit of work and David Casey rode her. She needed it but she was in great form so we decided to let her go on Sunday (today). We changed the riding tactics today as well and Johnny thought that made a big difference. She disappointed here after she won last time and she had a hard race to win that day. She looks back on track and the grass is going up again!. I did think she was a Listed or a Group 3 filly and maybe she's back on course,.

I had no doubt about her getting the seven. I don't want to take anything away from the horses that have beaten her before but at Deauville she was taken out of her stride after she jumped off. She's a big filly and needs to get into a rhythm. Ryan (Moore) gave her a chance to get back into her rhythm and once she did she was flying. I wouldn't say she'd have beaten the winner (No Nay Never) but we'll take him on again any day over six or seven. I couldn't understand when I saw 7/1 about her. The other filly (Kiyoshi) won at Ascot but we've come out and been competitive twice since. At Newmarket it was far too fast for her down the hill and she was lugging. She's never lugged in her life so she was obviously uncomfortable. I knew they'd go a good pace today and credit to them, there was some good fillies in the race but we were exceptionally good. I've trained some top fillies like Sayyedati, User Friendly and Pebbles but she may not be far behind them. She's developed really well over the year and I'd be very surprised if she didn't make a three-year-old given her temperament.
Moran Gra gets his big day in the sun
We've actually had a bit of a problem with his feet and I have to thank the farrier, Mattie Smith. Even though he likes that fast ground the last couple of times he's been changing his legs on it. He's had cracked feet and he was just getting pinched so we got special shoes for him with rubber insoles. I knew he was in great form but you couldn't really gallop him on that ground to find out if the treatment had worked. I won this twice as a jockey, for Con Collins and Arthur Moore, and I'm delighted he's won it as he's such a pet. To be perfectly honest he's not really good enough for the Group and Listed races here and a mile is his trip. There's a race at Leopardstown for him over a mile and one but I don't think he'll get the trip. I might stick him in anyway as there's not much else for him. Ideally I'd love to go to California with him in the winter . the States would be the place for him.
Dawson excels on Iron Major
He's a bit of a character and it's good to get a win with him again. Ray is a nice lad. He comes in to ride out once a week and he gave him a good ride there as this horse would know plenty.
51 and a 1/2 to 1 4-timer for A P O’B & J P O’B
He's a grand big horse. He's back after a break and I was afraid that he might not be ready. He's got a great pedigree and he stays well,.
