Smiler just prevails for Mikey O'Connor
We made it as he had no gallop recently and he's too honest and very hard on himself. He likes this place, it's a pity it is so far away! . He'd be a summer horse and he'll go to Dundalk for the winter. He might go for a winners race in Galway, that track might suit him. He would be for sale but he's keeping us smiling. He's named after our neighbour down the road.
Tune gets off mark on third start for McNiff
On her first run for me she ran well in a race here last time won by a horse that was better than the type of race. You've to talk nice to her! I thought if she repeated that run she would have a chance. She'll maybe got to Tramore as she doesn't like the stalls or there's a Sligo mares winners race or another race back here next time.
Dead heat in Downpatrick
I'm glad to have dead heated with Oliver Brady. This horse has missed his ground. He'll be out again over the summer, but will have a couple of weeks off.
Mighty win by Whitey on first start over fences
For his first time over fences he ran very well. You wouldn't put him over the bigger fences, he'll run at Tramore or here. He loves that ground. This track suits him. He could go back to Sligo, he's entered this week but it's unlikely he will go there this week. He's very game. Mick said he wanted to go long at everything. I wasn't sure he would get the trip.
Coldstonesober one for O'Connell and Finn
He's been running well. He seems to like the north as he was beat a short head in Down Royal. He's won twice at Tramore and they say he's a Tramore horse but maybe he's a northern horse. I'm delighted for Eddie (O'Connell). We've teamed up well together. He's coping very well with everything. I hope it goes well for him.
The Baler lands a gamble under Burke
He lost his way but this year he has come back. He had a good run in the Bishopscourt (at the Punchestown Festival), though I don't know how good a race that was. He hops off that ground and we'll keep going at it.
Itchymei'mscratch scores on debut
Nina said nothing worked out for him in the race so getting the win was great. He might get a break and go hurdling. The owner Charles Flattery is from Summerhill, Co Meath.
