Cogent and Coakley but only just at Cork
Short for Peticoat but she still wins
She has now won over five, six and seven (furlongs) - I wasn't going to run as I thought five wasn't her trip her but at ten to twelve on Tuesday morning there were only ten or eleven entries, and I'd a look to see what I had and put her in it,. Another three came out today which made it all the better. She did it well and we won't throw her into the deep end yet, and we'll keep her to six and with a bit of ease in the ground. She won't run against four year olds yet and she might get an easy few weeks now after having had a few quick races.
Smullen steers British raider in Cork success
Pretty Perfect alright in Munster Oaks
She ran very bad in the Guineas and that threw us but maybe we ran her too short back. She stays very well though and he (Colm O'Donoghue) was very happy with her there,.
Weld- 'Cork is one of the top tracks in Europe'
I love this race track - I think it is one of the top tracks of Europe, never mind Ireland. I’ve always been a huge supporter of it - I think it is a cracking track and that’s why I run these horses here. Look at what you’ve got (in recent weeks) - the winners of the Derby (Harzand) and Guineas (Jet Setting).
Prince Jock wins another at the age of 9
He had been working well at home and I rode him more forward today,.
Fairy grabs victory from jaws of defeat
Jewel delivers for her many backers in style
That is a big relief and she deserved to win today,. Her form has really stood up and Gary (Carroll) says she is a black-type filly. We'll look at the calendar and look for a Listed race around a mile to a mile and a quarter. Gary said she won with her ears pricked and loved that ground. She is a very big filly but was always well furnished - she eats and sleeps!
