Whitey Mighty at Sligo again
We wanted to make sure he settled today because if he done the same as the last day it might blow his mind and it could finish him with racing. He could maybe go to Galway now for a novice hurdle and he will probably need further in time.
Bean Chroi Bhriste delights connections
That was badly needed. David Casey was more interested in watching the Munster Final than riding her but he is glad he did now. I thought she might have needed this but she had form like finishing sixth in a Navan maiden hurdle and that was good enough for here.
Girl does the business at Sligo again
Making the running made all the difference. Andrew thought there wouldn't be much of a gallop and he did the right thing by going on. She stays well and loved the dig in the ground. She jumps those easyfix hurdles well and she is very genuine. Maybe she'll go handicapping now with Galway a possibility. It was a messy race when she ran in Ballinrobe last time.
Split shows them how in the West again
Anytime we've tried him beyond two miles we've met with defeat so the minimum trip seems to be the key to him. He'll go for the handicap hurdle on the Wednesday at Galway now.
Moore finally gets there with Bonifacio
I had an infection in the leg but I'm getting there now. All I can tell you about this horse is that he is very well bred and cost a lot of money at one stage. Hopefully he'll win in Killarney now as well on Tuesday. It's the owners first winner after twenty five years of trying. Pat Moore, he is from Kilcullen in County Kildare and I'm delighted for him.
Gilligan's Tornado blows Sligo rivals away
He has been knocking at the door for long enough and that will set him up for a maiden hurdle at Galway now. He would have run in the maiden hurdle here but it was for four-year-olds only.
