Going - Good, good to firm in places. Fine
Celtic Chieftain another winning Ballydoyle debutant
Thunderbear impresses in Navan sprint success
He's a legend, he's been great for us and won a Group 3 in England last year for us,. He's actually developing into a nice sprinter as he gets older. He had been a bit disappointing this season so it was nice to get him back into calmer waters and get the win. Hopefully we can build from here.
Keke lunges late to score under confident Lee
It was good. Where we were drawn we were trying to get cover because he's a horse that if you light him up he'd run on one breath and we didn't want to do that,. Billy is good at getting them to relax. He kind of went to sleep and at halfway I was thinking we were in a bit of trouble but he picked up very well and pulled up strong. He's got to learn how to race and get everything right. It's nice to have another winner for Andrew Cohen. He seemed confident but Billy is so laidback you wouldn't know. He had a plan, he felt he should have won the last day but the last day was a messy race and I'd say we weren't the only hard luck story. It's nice to get a win. You'd like to think he'll improve. That's well watered quick summer ground and he's won on bad ground so he's pretty versatile.
Everlasting makes most of easier task in Kooyonga Stakes
Old Faithful brings up quick double for Ryan Moore
Mar makes up for disqualification
Shane said she wasn't doing a whole lot in front. It didn't work out, we wanted to follow but there was no pace and she was just left there but she's won now which is great,. There were a lot of horses in there with form. It's great for them having had the disappointment the last day. She'll go up to a mile-and-a-half now I think.
Mayo For Sam bounces back to win under Caffrey
That's his 5lb gone(Caffrey claim), he gave it a great ride as we were drawn wide,. I suppose Mayo had to win something at some stage!. They are a bunch of Mayo lads that have her and they are a great bunch of lads. They stuck with her as she was a little but frustrating starting off. We ran her on tacky ground and she didn't handle it. She's run well on her last two runs and ran a cracker here the last day. We were drawn a little wide and I just told Adam to jump out and get forward, try to ride a race on her and dictate it as best you can. She toughed it out well. She's in at Leopardstown on Thursday and more than likely she'll rock up again if she gets in.
