That's perseverance. He's a good stayer. He really wants it firm but he managed it OK. He jumped really well. I'll probably look for a staying handicap hurdle. Chasing should be his game next season.
Cooper completes first treble in Kieran's race
It's sad but I'm delighted to win Kieran's race. This is a race Kieran lost his life in and the first time I've won it. It was a great ride by Bryan. He's a tricky horse. You can't hit him and have to coax him home.

We decided to pop out and see if he would enjoy himself and he jumped brilliantly today. He has been disappointing for a good while even though he has been in great form and working well. He just hasn't been doing it at the track. This was a lovely pot to win [12,765 euro].
