She's learning on the job. She had a lovely run the other day and we're running out of time so I said we'd let her go again. The horses are running well now so we need to be running them. We were quiet enough all year and everyone has been patient, it's paying off now thank-God. She's in again on Wednesday at Navan and I'd imagine she'll go again. I thought she wanted slower ground but the young lad got off her the other day and said don't be afraid to run her on nice ground. She got a very good ride from Paddy McGettigan two days ago. He educated her and wasn't hard on her so that had a big part to play in it as well. Robbie Colgan couldn't do the weight today, he rode her in her maidens and was good on her as well so it's a big team effort.

The plan after Galway was to come here because of the good pot,. I actually really fancied him, I thought at the furlong pole he was going to come home on his own. James has done two pieces of work with him in the last week and we were confident. Fair play to the Curragh, for a small trainer like me to run for 20 grand is a big thing. My Dad hasn't been well and he actually shouldn't be here as he's had treatment but we expected him nearly to win so it was hard to keep him away!. He'll keep going and we'll give him a run in ten days or so before the season ends. He probably would want a little bit more juice but got away with it.
