I'm delighted for the Hayes' as they are huge supporters of mine. It means everything to me to have a winner for them on the track. I've had a winner for them in a point-to-point. I looked after Newmill in John Murphy's and I had him for his final season. Without them I don't know where I'd be. This horse has taken his time but he's a chaser in the making. We'll find a winners-of-one for him but won't over-race him this season. I think he'll be better on better ground.

Lady makes use of hurdle mark

I'm delighted with that. Coming back over hurdles you never know but I thought if things went right she would win. She's won on heavy ground and good, and is very tough and genuine.

Thyestes on the agenda for lucky Wings

He ran a great race at Limerick and I did worry that this race was coming a bit quick for him. But if you're not in you can't win!. I'd like to have a crack at the Thyestes if he gets in at the weights. It's been a lucky race for us in the past.

Foley's veteran is simply Playing with rivals

The owner sent him to France but he didn't come back in a good way. He'd leg and back problems and it took a long time to get him back right. I'm delighted that he's won again. He'll probably go up for that and we might try him in a decent race next time off a lower weight.

Impressive Vic cruises home in bumper

He was very impressive. We took him to Newbury for a bumper sales race last year but unfortunately it was called off with snow. I think we were unlucky and that proved it today. He was bought at Doncaster as an unbroken three-year-old to replace One In A Milan which the (Cork-based One In A Million) syndicate sold. He seems to handle soft very well. I don't know what we'll do next.
