I'm delighted with that. He has disappointed us an awful lot as he shows us a lot at home and it was only out of despair that I ran him here. The ground must be riding fast, the time of the race was quick and maybe the drying ground could have been a help. He has got his reprieve after that.
Darbys Gives Layers a Turn
She is a very honest filly, a pleasure to train. They went a proper gallop today. She got black-type the last day and her next run will be in Thurles for a Grade three two and a half mile chase. Hopefully she'll make a great broodmare some day and the better ground here was a help.
