Bumper winner Jack back on track
Anything he does over hurdles is a bonus, it's all about chasing with this horse. We took our time with him over the winter, the ground was very heavy when he ran in a few beginners (chases). I had Galway in the back of my head and I thought maybe we could find a handier maiden hurdle, my family own him and they'd have a day out. It's great for my parents. They provided me with a place to train, and I couldn't do any of it without them. They've backed me the whole way. I rode him in Tipperary over two miles four and he possibly needed the run a bit there, he didn't see it out. I just thought a strong two miles and send him out early, that was my plan since Tipp, go to Galway and send him on down the hill.
"Very brave" Lady takes the feature
She was very brave. She jumped well, and stays well, and will obviously stay further from the look of that,. I think she carried a stone and five more than the second, and to be knocked over in the straight and come back, I thought it was very brave of her.
Capri goes in at 2/7
He had a lovely run the first day. Everyone always liked him and Seamie loved him all along. He loved him the first day but he was very green,. The third (Tang Dynasty) race a nice race, it was kind of the same story, he ran a bit green and finished out his race well. The winner could be a very good horse. Dad has the National Stakes in the back of his mind for him and he could end up there. He has a very big engine and he'll obviously go for something like the Beresford then.

116/1 Galway double for Hogan
We had a slow start to the week, we are only getting going! I knew our best chances were today. They all ran okay during the week, one or two disappointed. This is just brilliant for these owners. They started off with me, they were the first people in the yard and had horses like Luke's Benefit, Missie Ella and Sea's Aria,. They are great to deal with and I enjoy training for them. It's great to repay them by training a winner here. They have been so loyal to me. They lost a good horse last week in Belarussian. He was supposed to come here for a mile and a half race. He was second in Leopardstown and then broke his leg after pulling up in Ballinrobe after he was beaten. Tithonus is a versatile horse. It's strange, he was second in two maiden hurdles over two miles and then it was looking like he doesn't get a mile. His trip on the Flat seems to be six or seven furlongs so it's a strange one. We have one more coming up with a chance now so hopefully.
40/1 Gold for Harrington followers
I was hoping for a good run, he was working well at home,. He had a good run at Leopardstown, but he just didn't want to know at Down Royal. Colm had to really get after him from the stalls as he started slowly today. He will go for something similar now, he has had a light summer. He will make a lovely jumper as he has plenty of size and scope about him.
Mullins leads Galway race with a brace
That was very good. She showed plenty of gears at home but I didn't think she was that strong. The manner of her win surprised me, as a four-year-old to win like that against older horses,. She might go for a winners bumper or we could leave her off until the winter. She can do nothing but improve.
