Odds-on Rock lives up to her billing
She's a lovely mare and hopefully a bit better ground will suit her in time. Overall her jumping was much better today as she was a bit clumsy the first day. She's got a chasers pedigree as she's from a Jim Dreaper family. She's a fine model of a mare and she'll be kept on the go for the next six to eight weeks. She had an easy time of it as she didn't run until Christmas.
Burns back with a big priced winner
I told a few lads to back him each-way as he was a massive price. He's a well-bred horse and he likes the soft ground. He was fit and well and he jumps well. I was a bit surprised at the price as he does everything well. He's a nice horse . a winter ground type. I wouldn't have run him but for the rain coming recently and he was lucky to get in as he was fifteen in the ballot.

He did it nicely. I'm delighted for Stephen (McCormack, the owner) . he deserves that . he was good enough to send me a hose . he put his faith in me and it's good that we've repaid him. He's a nice horse. I don't know where we'll go next but I'm delighted with that. He handled better ground at Down Royal the last day and he handled that ground today well.

She's in great form and everything went well for her there. She seems to like it here and the distance suited her as well. We were a little concerned that there'd be no pace and that she'd have to make it herself. They went a good enough gallop, he was able to sit in and it worked out simple enough.
