Courage comes good under Casey
Dysios delights Cullen
We are absolutely over the moon. He's a horse we always thought a lot of. We were delighted to get Barry Geraghty on board. He travelled great and he jumped well. I thought he had a good chance, but I would have preferred to have run him on Thursday's ground as I thought it was better. Barry says he probably doesn't want it as heavy as that. He might get an entry in the Pierse Hurdle [Boylesports.com Hurdle]. Ideally we want to go chasing with him later. He schooled over fences and jumps well. We just have to bite the bullet at some stage and decide to go over the bigger ones. I think he'll make a smashing chaser in time.
Zaidpour lands Grade 1 Christmas glory
He came back in very strong. We put cheekpieces on him at Fairyhouse and they worked well. I took them off as I thought he would be too free over three miles, but he was very free without them.
Djakadam looks young chaser to follow
He had one or two hairy jumps early but was fantastic after that when Ruby sent him about his job,. He's a natural and has great scope for jumping. His pedigree suggests he'll have no problem going three miles. He'll get a couple of nice big entries now. Ruby couldn't get a pull of him to pull up and that tells us he had a huge amount left in the tank.
Bobs proves his Grade 1 Worth again
I would have given anything to have taken him out two days ago with the ground and the weather, and I wasn't that happy with him. The horse never stops surprising us. When I saw Barry angling out with him he obviously thought that he was going to get there. We all know he finishes his races except in Haydock. It's only five or six weeks since he got thumped into the ground there. Barry was keen to come here and he thought we would get better ground here than anywhere in England. From Bobs Worth's run in the Betfair which flummoxed everybody and to come from winning the Gold Cup to being thumped in the Befair frightened the living daylights out of all of us. I wasn't sure we really needed to be coming here but to be fair Barry always thought this was a good track for him. We were hoping for better ground.
Silver Concorde glides home in the bumper
It was a nice performance and a confident ride from Derek O'Connor. The horse won the way I thought he would. Obviously we'll look for a winners' bumper and go from there. He'll always appreciate better ground. My only concern today was the ground as he's a very good-actioned horse. He was a big weak immature horse but you saw a much more mature horse today.
