Lynwood Gold just prevails in a thriller
Thereisnodoubt makes up for lost time
I'm delighted with that as he had been off the track for a good while, 318 days. He just had a few niggly problems. We found a nice little race for him today and Eoin gave him lovely quiet ride, filled him up the whole way. He loves that ground. Last year he didn't have the ground. He won twice for us last year and we were just lucky to get nice ground for him. This year we were kind of kicking ourselves with the way the ground was but we couldn't get him out at all. He was declared twice to run and we couldn't get him out because of niggly problems. Thankfully today he got it done.

Castlegrace Paddy back on song in Webster Cup
That was great. Bryan said at Leopardstown to keep this race in mind. He said at Naas he gave a blow at the wrong time. When they all quickened he gave a blow and he had to give him a chance. I had thought about going for the Grand Annual and thought he was well in but Joe Foley and Steve Parkin wanted to come for this and when we saw the entries it looked like the right move. I'd say the ground is still heavy enough for him. All the times he's won it's been soft ground but ground that he can jump off whereas there he has to get down and jump and can't be slick enough but he was good today. I'm delighted for Steve Parkin, who has stuck by me, and Joe Foley. We had said if we won this we might go to Aintree but we'll see. This was the main objective and we got it.
Jimmil takes valuable prize for Cromwell & Maxwell
That was great and it was a brilliant pot. His jumping is only starting to come. He asked him at one down the back and he jumped up into the clouds. He fell here a couple of runs ago when he over-jumped but it's come together and this is a great pot to win. I think there might be something in Fairyhouse for him but we'll see how we go. He didn't travel at all in Clonmel the last day but he was as sweet as a nut there today.
Conright Boy makes all for deserved win
He deserved that big time as he's always knocking on the door. He gave me a scare at that fence down the back but thank God he got out of it. He ran on well and I think the cheek-pieces helped him down the straight.
Barbary is the Master in bumper
He's a nice horse and he stays really well. I'm looking forward to him next year over hurdles. Being by Presenting you sort of wondered about the ground but I felt he stayed so well that he probably handled the ground pretty well. Eoin is great value for the 7lb claim.
