Stokes & Doyle land Wexford opener
She was just very green and jumping up into the air a small bit at Clonmel. She was still green enough today and when we got competitive turning out of the back, she really latched on. I was getting there a bit sooner than I wanted, but she was kind of taking me there and I had no real choice in the matter. In fairness, when she hit the front she galloped right to the line and wasn't that green.
Ol Man Dingle strikes for Griffin
It's nice to back up his last run. The ground was a bit of an unknown coming here today. I had his previous race and this one mapped out for a quite a while and I was hoping coming here that the ground would be a bit softer. He has been campaigned over further and I just thought two miles on a stiff track, on a bit softer ground, would suit him. The pace was a bit muddling and he seems versatile enough when it comes to trip. . We will see where we go from here. He has been on the go a while and I'll probably give him a small little break now. I could bring him back for a race at Leopardstown over Christmas, there is a novice handicap there that he could run in. We'll let him creep away and see where he brings us. . This is Brian's first horse with me, he is from Newtownhamilton and I'm delighted for him. He is a nice horse to look forward to. It's great for Ricky as well, he is having a great few days.

We were very, very disappointed after the first day. We went to Listowel thinking he'd win and we are still not sure what went wrong. It was very, very wet that day, it was over two and a half and he was quite keen for his first day at school. He didn't run that bad and if our expectations weren't so high we wouldn't have been disappointed. You kind of lose confidence then.
