Collins & Donoghue on the mark with Sweetie
She was touched off in her first bumper at Ballinrobe and has had a few problems along the way but we're learning with her every time. I'll run her again while the ground is suitable and while she's no superstar, she has done her job now. I think she'll win again, she has schooled and will jump a fence no bother.
Further Tipp cheer as Colin scores at Cork
I've always thought a lot of him and he's from a proper family and out of a mare who won three or four Grade 2's in France. He'll go for a novice hurdle next and is a lovely novice to have - the sky's the limit!
Simenon wins for in-form Mullins
it’s a great honour to win this race, in honour of Joe Walsh, who was Minister in charge of setting up HRI. In racing we owe a fair bit to Joe and his commitment and today hopefully will be a celebration of that.
Mill Quest lands a gamble
She is related to some good horses and while I always thought she would be decent enough, she was just disappointing. She was always working well at home and we've tried everything with her on the track but she kept disappointing. Hopefully there will be another one or two in her now.
Undefined Beauty wins for Stanners/Kennedy
she seemed to like the ground today and the further distance suited. She is well-bred so we might look for some black-type at some stage.
Deserved win for well-backed Bow
His form would tell you he never runs a bad race but he'll definitely make a better chaser than hurdler. Davy said he got there too soon but gave him an outstanding ride. We're learning about the horse all the time and he'll run over fences at Tramore soon.
Dylan sales bound after bumper success
He's a lovely horse but he went wrong on me and I had to give him a wind operation. I thought an awful lot of him during the winter and thought he was going to bolt up in his point to point at Punchestown but discovered he had a wind problem. He only had the wind operation 12 weeks ago and that's his first run back. He'll be a real good horse and you'd want to see him over a fence - he's a real chaser. The plan was never to be running during the summer but it was just very lucky the ground turned soft for him. He is going to the Sales at Ascot on August 16th and that is the plan - he could actually be a decent horse.
