Dressedtothenines catches the eye
She's an improving mare and is getting better as the year has gone on. I knew she was decent last year, but she is progressing well. Obviously Willie's mare at Clonmel (Annie Power) is a helluva mare, but she she's the first mare to put it up to her for a few strides. It shows you how good Annie Power is. It's great to get big blacktype with her and Im delighted. She's done well for us winning three on the bounce including a Grade 2. She's only a young mare and we've all next season to look forward to. We'll discuss things, but going over fences might be an option.

Pique Sous right back to his best
The ground made a huge difference. Tennis Cap ran well enough [finished fourth], but probably had too hard a race at Cheltenham. He probably wants soft ground, but this fella loved the nice underfoot conditions. Ruby would have jumped before the race if he could have. Pique Sous will go to Punchestown and we might let him take his chance in the Grade 1 two miler. He's just not able to handle soft ground and we'll try and find a campaign on good ground. I might try and find something during the summer. Maybe he'll mature and get stronger and he might handle soft ground next season, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.
Akorakor wins Racing Post bumper
He's a proper horse and is only a baby. He's four and is massive. He'll be a serious horse with a summer's grass. . It's a pity that I'm not allowed to train him next year but that's the deal I did with Gigginstown when they let me train their point-to-pointers. They were good enough to let me train them and bring them along and he'll go to another trainer next season.

Carlowsantana runs them ragged
That's unbelievable. New owners took him over (Santana Syndicate) and I always said we would give him one chance at a big race. He's a good jumper and a good strong galloper. I said to Ian to jump out and make it and if nothing took him on to keep going. Ian gave him a great ride. Some people have underestimated this horse but he annihilated them. If the ground had been heavy he wouldn't have run. He'll go to Punchestown. We'll see what mark he gets. He'll probably hammer him, but it doesn't matter after winning a big pot like that.
Solstice Knight rewards his owners
Great credit to the owners (Nelius Hayes and D Cox) and staff as he's a horse that's broken down a couple of times. The better ground made a difference. He didn't run too badly at Navan when he pulled up before the last behind a horse that finished fifth in the National (Panther Claw). I'm sure the owners would like to go to Punchestown and we'll see if he's sound after that.
