Joyce holds all the aces on Miss Black Jack
To be fair, I think Wesley spoke to Nathan (Crosse) on the way up and Nathan gave exactly the same ride but we got done by Johnny Feane's good improver (Ohailbhic). We were expecting at least a top three finish. I didn't expect her to do it that easily now - the five off her back and she is improving away. Her siblings have improved at three and hopefully she follows the same route. I thought I'd win with her as a two-year-old. We didn't - we went to Newcastle and we got beaten. I was keen that we got the job done here. I might take her to Wolverhampton for a fillies' handicap next Saturday. She has won well there, so we will see what we get in the weights. There is no let up in rain and I probably wouldn't even run her on yielding, she skips along. The future is bright, she is a good horse.

Ryan Shines yet again on McCourt's Aitch
He has loads of ability, but he has just been frustrating. We put the visor on him at home the other day and James was mad about him, he was very confident. He worked with Arbaawi and went seriously well. Dropping back to a mile - a mile or a mile and a-quarter, horses seem to do either here. A mile, you are going to have a strong pace and he needs to be coming off a strong pace really.

Wesley Joyce brings up Dundalk double on Moondharrig
He's had a good winter up here anyway. He was just a bit upset tonight going out, he kind of whipped around and we were a bit worried. Wesley said he actually picked up better than he did the last three nights. He was impressive tonight now, he picked up well. He was left in front a long way out, but he said he kept finding and finding and finding. We were giving out as he got 7lb for being second the last day, but obviously he (handicapper) was right.
