Deman in control in Wexford opener
He started off with us originally and I'm delighted he is back with us. It was a bit up in air whether he'd go to America, but they told us to tip away with him. Rod Moorhead owns him and there is good a few others involved as well as he is half syndicated out. He is a big striding horse and we weren't going to disappoint him in any way so it was the plan to go out in front. I'll talk to Keri Brion now, she is more or less the racing manager for Rod. We'll have a chat with them and see. Maybe he'll go for a National at Far Hills, God only knows. He is a lovely horse to have and we are just lucky to have him back again.

Hardy overcomes jumping errors to win in style
He is a lovely big horse. We bought him a year or two ago and he actually failed the vet for his wind, so that was always going to be a bit of a worry down here this evening. We got away with it anyway, it's wet ground and they are getting through it. He had two nice runs under his belt and they were probably a bit close together. I probably regret sending him to Haydock so quickly, but he's had 40 odd days since and he seems to have come back into himself. It was a nice performance and it's great to give Conor a winner, he is a great part of the team at home and I'm delighted for him. He has his own way of getting from A to B. Conor was asking should he have done this or that but on that ground and over three miles, there is only so much you can help the horse. He doesn't really help himself no matter what way you set him up. A to B, get in and pop it, that's his way of doing it and we'll leave him at it. I know it's probably not too enticing for anyone to be going out over fences on him but he is handicapped over them and has got around the likes of Leopardstown before. He'll mix it now between hurdles and fences.
Romero repels Lane in driving finish
Marie Bagland looks after him at home. She puts in a lot of effort and has done a great job with him. He wants better ground and we were hoping it would be loose today. He ran very well on loose ground at Fairyhouse one day but when it gets very holding, he struggles on it. I went through the form of all the horses in the race, they all seemed to be the same, they all want a bit of better ground. We took a chance and I thought Paddy gave him an unbelievably positive ride. We will wait until after Punchestown with him now. I think he'll continue for the summer on a bit of nicer ground. There is no plan B with him, he just goes out in front. It's great to get a winner, Oliver, Marie and the Barden family are so supportive, it's fantastic. The yard is going great but we could do with a good horse.
