Thief upstages Award at Cork
We're delighted with him as I felt he got no recognition for being second (to the very impressive Head Space at Naas) first time out. He had to do the donkey work that day. We'll get out tails and our bowler hats out now and see where we go (a reference to Royal Ascot). I thought he'd do about 59 seconds with the wind behind him there (stopped the clock at 58sec 46.80).

Homework pays off for Lyons & Latham
We thought he'd need the race but he is gutsy and I have to give Keagan plenty of credit. We walked the track twice and given where he was drawn he decided to stick on the virgin ground. The Greenlands (on Guineas weekend) will be next for him and then it'll be Royal Ascot. He is a good replacement for Dohasa and everyone is happy. The Wokingham was the Ascot race for him before today and we'll just see what the handicapper does with him now. He may have needed the race today but you can't keep a good horse down.
Cheek-pieces see One Of Three home
She had been going well at home but she's a little idle. Declan McDonogh, who rode her last time said that she wasn't that anxious to run. With that in mind we put the cheek-pieces on her and they worked. When she got an easy lead I knew she'd stay going. The draw makes an awful difference out there.
Blasket makes it third time lucky
He is improving with each start but he is due a break now after having three quick races.
Carroll doubles-up on Bravely Fought
He might go for a maiden hurdle now. He is a gutsy horse and we love him - he is such a pet. That's his third win for us and he ran a cracker in Goodwood last year. He got stronger physically over the winter and he had a little wind-op before Christmas as well which was a little help.
