Murphy off the mark with Alice
My father died five weeks ago so I have the licence a month. I only have a couple for the track and few point-to-pointers and my main job is working with Paul Cashman both with the racehorses and the stud. We knew she'd love the ground but she did run a bit flat the last day. She'd been going well at home lately though. Tim and Brian Richardson from Cork city own her.

Stevie delights favourite backers under McNally
I'm hoping he'll be good enough to go on from here. He'll keep hurdling for this winter but he has won a point-to-point so he'll go chasing then. Colin thought that seeing as he won a point that he'd stay galloping and that's why he went from so far out. The ground is very deep though and he was game to stay going. He has a good old pedigree being a half-brother to Possible Gale and Whizbang.
Whinstone shows his guts
My son Patrick splintered his ulna in three places when this fellow fell at Clonmel last week. He is gone back in for x-rays on it today. I'm eyeing up a good staying chase for Whinstone Boy. He is a 117 over fences and he could be a Thyestes horse.
Woods has dream start
I think Kielan has a future although there is a long way to go. He is a good chap and gave him a lovely ride. He has been schooling over fences and everything which is great from a seventeen-year-old. He came to me from the apprentice centre.
