Lyons has Lily performing like an Angel
She likes the Irish air. She won a nice handicap at Leopardstown and she was bought to breed (owned by Clodagh Mitchell and her husband Kevin). The plan is to go for a Listed race here over a mile (9th of November, the Cooley Stakes for fillies) and it could also be on the agenda to go to Dubai.

Joe foils Russian gamble
That's the ground he wants. I know he has been performing at the Curragh on testing ground but that's just his class getting him through. I thought he'd win a premier handicap but he ran into one in the Joe McGrath (second to Bubbly Bellini). Seven furlongs is his trip but he won't get a yard over six furlongs on heavy ground. If the handicapper gives him plenty he could go to Dubai and if not he'll stay here.
Oliver and Hayes limber up for Donny
He really needed the good ground. He was unlucky here before when he got hampered coming out of the stalls. The blinkers helped him to focus a bit and it was an intelligent ride by Chris as he made use of him. We'll keep him at it on this surface. He's one to look forward to next year.
This Mast is going up
I see he is after peeing all over Sole Power's course record here (Balmont Mast clocked 57.35, shaving 0.11 off the previous T.R. at the venue). He's a good horse and he'll go to Dubai. I see the handicap ratings went out the window . that's a shock. He's in the Golden Rose in Lingfield (Listed event over six furlongs on November 17th) in a few weeks and we'll see about that.
McDonogh keeps it simple on Ansgar
He deserved that. He's been working like a cracking horse at home. He's had no luck. He's been unlucky a few times but he loves the polytrack.
