This is a lovely filly who we bought at the yearling sales and had her at the breeze-ups but went unsold and we brought her home. She is by Alhebayeb who is the sire of Maggie Thunder who won three races for me. I had also seen A Case Of You race, thought he would be a good horse and bought her on the strength of that. We'll keep her in ordinary company but we'll see where she takes us. I have a plan, which includes getting black-type eventually next year, and will work back from there. Alhebayebs all want time and she'll be a better filly next year. She will be a great foundation mare, is beautiful and correct, has size and has a very good attitude. We breed a few so she will enter the broodmare band.

I was hoping she might do something like that. I was a little concerned about the ground as a lot of her better form is on soft ground. I thought she ran a courageous race over nine furlongs the last day (Kilboy Estate Stakes) and he (Bill Lee) said she travelled in as well as anything but said they tapped him for toe. I think that's why she ran well on soft ground in the past as she stays at it but on that faster ground I think she is very comfortable at 1m2f-1m4f. She is a four-year-old and by the end of the year will probably be finished racing so a part of me said to keep her to the end of the year but the other part said to keep running. I'm hoping that the softer ground in the autumn could bring about some improvement.
