The Stewards fined S. Michael Millar, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Nevada Rose, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Nevada Rose in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Hare, rider of Sizing Coal, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including the report of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. M.J. O'Hare was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive force and Regulation 10.4 in that he failed to give mount time to respond. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr. M.J. O' Hare for 1 raceday. Mr. James Hunt, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry

McParlan was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) in that he used his whip with the arm above shoulder height and Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive force

Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr. N. McParlan for 2 racedays. Rev
