She had the rating to win, had been working nicely and loved the little ease in the ground. We'll see if we can get a bit of black-type with her, that's the target. I'm very pleased. I'd say that was a good maiden. With fillies at this time of year you are trying to start off and get winning brackets with them first and then see if you can progress. She ran some very good races last year and that's why she is a highly rated filly. I'd be very hopeful of getting black-type with her. D K Weld, trainer

The Stewards enquired into two incidents about one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Forbearance, ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, Shamiyna, ridden by O.J. Orr, placed fifth, Silver St Cloud, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced and Tashi, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed second, where it appeared in the first incident that Silver St Cloud ran short of room and checked and in the second incident Forbearance got tight for room when racing between Shamiyna and Tashi. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference was accidental in nature and took no further action

M.A. Enright, rider of Matilda With Me trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up after the bit had gone through the animals mouth
