An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately ½ furlong out when Wimpole Hall (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert, interfered with THECHILDREN’STRUST (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hector Crouch, who in turn interfered with Scofflaw (GB), unplaced, ridden by Harry Bentley.
The interference was found to be accidental as Probert shifted quickly left in order to avoid clipping the heels of the rapidly weakening Dawry (IRE), unplaced, resulting in THECHILDREN’STRUST (IRE) and Scofflaw (GB) being carried off their intended lines.
