Permission was given for Kath's Toyboy (GB) to go early to post, the gelding also wore earplugs which were removed at the start.

Further permission was given for Secret Tryst (GB) and Suanni (GB) to wear red hoods to post.

The raceday privilege request in relation to Kath's Toyboy (GB), trained by Mike Murphy and Michael Keady, was late being submitted.

Murphy and Keady were warned as to their responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.

Kath's Toyboy (GB) unseated Chloe Lyons at the end of the chute.

Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and Doctor respectively, both were deemed fit to race.

An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend involving Kath's Toyboy (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Chloe Lyons, Coolagh Magic (GB), unplaced, ridden by William Carson, Suanni (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson, Boom The Groom (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Richard Kingscote, and Secret Tryst (GB) , unplaced, ridden by Kieran O'Neill.

Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Lyons was accompanied in the enquiry by a trainer.

The interference was found to be accidental as Secret Tryst (GB) and Coolagh Magic (GB) had been left short of room and checked by the riders, when Suanni (GB) and Boom The Groom (IRE) had swung wide on the bend at the same time as Lyons had maintained her legitimate racing line on the outside.

The Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Idoapologise (GB), ridden by Aiden Brookes, Suanni (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson, Kath's Toyboy (GB), unplaced, ridden by Chloe Lyons, Boom The Groom (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Richard Kingscote, Nubough (IRE), placed second, ridden by Levi Williams, Come On Girl (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Rhys Clutterbuck, and Breach (GB), placed fourth, ridden by David Egan, however they were unable to do so as Clutterbuck had left the course.

They adjourned the enquiry to a date to be notified to the riders in due course.

Following the race, Jim Crowley reported that Portelet Bay (GB), unplaced, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
