The performance of Kilbrew Boy (IRE), which started favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
It was noted that Ben Case could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance other than the rider reported that Kilbrew Boy (IRE) was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Volt Face (FR), bled from the nose prior to the gelding falling.
